I am directed to inform you that His Excellency

the Governor has ordered preceedings to be taken agiret you

under Bemoral Orders B2 to 104.

The grounds of the intended suspension are sa

(a) That on the 2nd, Kärch 1916 yêu were in such a

condition under the influence of liquer as to be

incapable of discharging your duties properly.

(b) that on the Erd. March 1916 you were in such a

oonditiem under the influence of liquer se to be

incapable of discharging your duties properly and

(c) That on the 4th. Harsh you were absent from duty

without leave.

I am therefore to call upon yeu to state in writing

before the 18th. inst. any ground upon which you rely to exculpete

yourse ir. I am also directed te remind you that you have been

interdicted from the powers and fumotions of your office as frem

the 6th. inst., and to infern you that until proceedings have

been taken for your suspension you will be allowed to receive one

half of the salary of your office.
